Copper Busbar

The copper busbar is the connection between the main switch in the electric cabinet and the switch in each shunt circuit. The copper or aluminum row is connected.

The copper busbar surface is insulated. The main function of copper busbar is to make the wire.

copper busbar is the conductive material on the power distribution equipment. The material is flat copper (equivalent to the wire). There is no insulation layer. The outside is painted with color paint indicating the phase sequence. It is mainly used for indoor transformers to the power distribution cabinet. Go to the main power switch and connect to each open switch. The main power supply line of the power distribution equipment (copper row, aluminum row is called copper busbar), and each branch line (support row) is led down by the copper busbar.

A copper busbar is a product made of a high-conductivity copper (copper row) or aluminum material for transmitting electrical energy and having the ability to collect and distribute electric power. The total conductor used to deliver electrical energy to a power station or substation. Through it, the power output from the generator, transformer or rectifier is delivered to individual users or other substations.

Function: In the power system, the copper busbars connect the various current-carrying branch circuits in the power distribution device, play the role of collecting, distributing and transmitting electrical energy, and are the total wires used for power transmission in the power station or substation.

Since the copper busbar is in operation, there is a huge amount of electric energy passing through, and when it is short-circuited, it is subjected to a large heat and electrodynamic effect. Therefore, the copper busbar material, cross-sectional shape and cross-sectional area must be reasonably selected to meet the requirements of safe and economic operation.
