English: Budeč, located near Zákolany, 17 km northwest of Prague in the Czech Republic, used to be an important fortified settlement during rule of first Přemyslides (9-10th century CE). Two rings of walls are still visible there. The rotunda of SS Peter and Paul at acropolis of Budeč is the oldest still standing building in the Czech Republic.
