English: Barrack Road is a major thoroughfare into the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, notably passing the main stand and entrance to the city's football stadium, St James' Park. It starts to the NW 54°58′53″N 1°38′09″W / 54.981437°N 1.635906°W / 54.981437; -1.635906 as a continuation of Ponteland Road at the crossroads with Hunter's Road to the NE and Brighton grove to the SE. It then runs SE into the city, ending at the junction with Strawberry Place 54°58′27″N 1°37′20″W / 54.974172°N 1.62228°W / 54.974172; -1.62228, which marks the SW corner of the stadium. Beyond here it continues as the street named Gallowgate. As it runs from Ponteland Road to Gallowgate, Barrack Road features the following buildings/landmarks and junctions with other streets:
