Amphibious warfare

English: Amphibious warfare is the assault of an objective located on land by a force attacking from ships. It requires to transport troops to land from the ships which carry them to the area to be assaulted.

Norsk bokmål: Amfibisk krigføring innebærer angrep på et landbasert mål med militære styrker fra skip. Amfibisk krigføring krever landgangsfartøyer eller helikoptre for å transportere soldater til land fra skipene som har brakt dem til området.
