Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 11:01, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Recent activity[edit]
As I told you almost five years ago on your Wipipedia user talk page, blanking things is almost never the answer to anything in the universe of Wikimedia sites. Anyway, if you now don't want File:FatFetishFlag.png deleted, then please go to the deletion nomination page you created and say so. AnonMoos (talk) 15:51, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for bringing the deletion pages to my attention. I had changed my mind about having these symbols on commons, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Both of the deletion pages have my statements of cancellation to reflect that. Eugene Faust (talk) 18:43, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
CCA3.0 preferred attribution[edit]
I am looking to create an enamel pin of your Adipophilia flag design. How would you like me to attribute you? I obviously can't print your name on the pin. Would an attribution on a webpage showing off the pin suffice? 142.120.235.136 02:06, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
I've released my flag into the public domain. Feel free to use it however you'd like. It's for the whole community.
