MediaWiki:Category from gallery.js forms part of the MediaWiki interface and can only be edited by administrators, stewards and interface editors.
To request a change to MediaWiki:Category from gallery.js, add {{Edit request}} to this talk page, followed by a description of your request.
With this script you can quickly create a category from a gallery. To enable this script please insert this into your monobook.js file:

Open points

  • It does not auto save yet (disabled to be sure)
  • Leaves a lot of whitespace if interwiki's are present.

Broken JavaScript[edit]

MediaWiki developers found that this page probably breaks JavaScript for users (example: not seeing the buttons when editing a page). You probably need to edit this .js page and/or MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition as in the examples at phabricator:T122755. List more pages to check.
