Identification[edit]

Hello. I think that the mushroom in the photo looks very different from Lepista nuda in several ways, and that cannot be the correct identification (nor Lepista sordida). On the other hand the photos fit well with Lepista sublilacina. The latter is an Australian species, but that corresponds well with the fact that it was on a compost heap - it could have come with a garden plant from Australia. For instance, look at this photo. If it is not that species, I think it must be another exotic Lepista. Naturally this comment applies to the whole set of photos. Strobilomyces (talk) 19:52, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User Famberhorst has said on his user talk page of 9th June 2020 that I can change the identification of this fungus. I don't believe at all that this is could be a diseased Lepista nuda and I am convinced that it is Lepista sublilacina or something very similar. I will categorize it as "Unidentified Lepista".
