Very long filename[edit]

Normally, actual traffic signs not only of Germany have filenames only consisting of "sign" (in German "Zeichen") and the number. Taht is very useful, especially, if an article shows a lot of traffic signs.

As a complete information also has to mention the numbers of the signs, the authors have to know them, anyway.

Only for historical signs or signs outside the official list, longer lemmata are correct.

If now someboy tries to change the filenames of actual signs, which are defined by a valid code, into long text, that is contraproductive.

Therefore my urgent plea: Return to "Zeichen 240.svg"--Ulamm (talk) 21:37, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
