You probably mean to go to [[Wiktionary:Main Page]]. {{NowCommons|Image:Wiktionary-logo-en.png}}

Font[edit]

What font is this? Thank you. --Indolences 03:58, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation[edit]

I think the logo should be changed to better fit the pronunciation of dictionary. Right now there is no "a" part of the ending "ary". See this discussion: [1] -24.218.111.82 16:10, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

why -en?[edit]

why the name is Wiktionary-logo-en.png and not simply Wiktionary-logo.png? All Wikimedia project logos are in the form: Wikibooks-logo.png, Wikiquote-logo.png ... We need a standar!--Wiso 10:52, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The "en" stands for "English". The images you named have little English text in them, if any. On the other hand, the Wiktionary logo is all text, and there is no "international" version of it. That's one of the reasons that many in the community were trying to come up with a new logo that did have an "international" version. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 23:37, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SVG[edit]

{{ShouldBeSVG}} I can't edit this page, but it should be SVG.

If someone can tell me what font this is, a SVG version can easily be made. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 22:28, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dialect[edit]

The IPA symbols indicate a British English pronunciation... AnonMoos 17:49, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Add ShouldBeSVG template?[edit]

{{editprotected}}

Could someone add a {{Convert to SVG}} template? The other Wikimedia projects' icons are going SVG, so so should Wiktionary's, presumably? It Is Me Here 17:46, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I added the tag. I just wish they tell me what font to use and either myself or others can make it happen. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 23:40, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Times New Roman ("Wiktionary" and "Wilco"), Bitstream Vera Sans (n.,), and Lucida Sans Unicode (everything else). :) I've made a new vector version. Fvasconcellos 19:37, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
