Look at this map, it's ridiculous, how on Earth can Greece and Finland be in Western Europe. You might as well include all countries west of Russia instead of picking a couple of favourites. Izzedine (talk) 18:43, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. I suggest that the creator checks the articles on the Northern, Eastern and Southern parts of Europe. --NFSreloaded (talk) 08:38, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've adjusted it to match National Geographic's definition. Izzedine (talk) 01:30, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You do realise that 'Western Europe' is more than a geographical region? It also represents the high-income developed countries that were not part of the Eastern Bloc. Yes, the Cold War is now over, but the economies of the countries that formed the Eastern Bloc are still lagging behind the 'West'. Hayden120 (talk) 03:03, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Slovenia and the Czech Republic are basically on par with Greece economically, and they are alot further west than Greece, so there is more reason to include them in Western Europe. Greece is almost a Middle-Eastern country. Izzedine (talk) 02:13, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
