Don't think that's right[edit]
Just registering my strong doubts that this is the species listed. This article states that newborns of this species weigh ca. 11g at birth. Little brown bats, for example, weigh 5.5–12.5 g as adults. Look at the size of an adult little brown bat relative to the human hand, though [1]. They're small, but definitely not small enough to sit on a fingertip. This is definitely a wrong identification. Enwebb (talk) 22:10, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

- I did have a valid reference to a published, scientific journal RS (it's linked above, but here it is again). I know it isn't a little brown bat. I also know it isn't a lesser short-nosed fruit bat and this image is mislabeled. I was stating that if this was a newborn of that species, it would be 11g (from the RS), which is roughly the size of an adult little brown. An 11g bat of any species is not small enough to sit on your fingertip. I'm remembering that you also labeled another bat as this species (File:Baby of lesser short-nosed fruit bat (Cynopterus brachyotis).JPG) when it is clearly not.
