Date of stamp[edit]

There were three designs for this stamp issue:

  1. The 1928 issue printed by the Thomas De La Rue company of London was inscribed in Arabic script.
  2. The 1934 issue with the printer unspecified was inscribed "Türkiye Hilahliahmer Cemiyeti"
  3. The 1938 issue was inscribed "Türkiye Kızılay Cemiyeti" and had three different types:
    1. Type I imprinted "Devlet Basimevi" in 1938,
    2. Type II imprinted "Alaeddin Kirai Basimevi" in 1942, and
    3. Type III imprinted "Damga Matbaası" in 1941.
