Oddities[edit]

File:System-users (2).svg is a valid version of File:System-users.svg, update requested on COM:UPDATE. Something is odd, the old + new source contains {{Cc-by-sa-2.0}} metadata, but {{Tango project}} claims to be "public domain" based on the Tango Desktop Project terms of use. However, the CC BY-SA 2.0 author Jakub Steiner is listed as member of this project. Maybe he simply forgot to fix his license. Maybe the tango folks decided on PD later. Maybe some rogue element at this project stole all images for the purposes of a COM:LL. Just in case I added a {{License review}} request on the old page, and used {{Cc-by-sa-2.0}} on the temporary new page. –Be..anyone (talk) 23:35, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

=b only looking at the source. No rdf => no obscure CC BY-SA. –Be..anyone (talk) 16:48, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The point is, this are the old files. I looked in the last ones (revision 0.8.90) and they removed all this in the source! (so they don't forget it)User: Perhelion (Commons: = crap?)  17:34, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, ready to be executed. –Be..anyone (talk) 23:57, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Be..anyone and Perhelion: ✓ Done. In order to preserve file history, I moved File:System-users.svg to File:System-users (original with errors).svg and then I moved File:System-users (2).svg to File:System-users.svg, I updated the descriptions of files originally derived from the version with errors (now at File:System-users (original with errors).svg) to refer to files from which they were created. —RP88 (talk) 03:04, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
