well, the "spread" of Christianity to the Outer Hebrides, the Orkneys and throughout Pictland and Anglo-Saxon England is a little optimistic if you ask me, but whatever is in the source cited. --Dbachmann (talk) 10:51, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sinai == misrepresentation of the Middle East[edit]

Please cite the source behind this image. Leaving out the Sinai seems rather odd, given that it is home to St. Catherine's Monestary, which is from the pre-Islamic period. 2.110.215.216 09:57, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That Picture should be removed. First of all the picture represents the Middle East as a continent which it's not. The Middle East is a transcontinental region that Includes Egypt in North Africa and Ends with iran in West Asia. Why does that picture that you posted depict the Middle East as if it was a continent? Second of all, Christianity was spread in Egypt by Saint Mark between the 40s and 50s AD in Alexandria, you know... the guy that wrote the Gospel of Mark? We really don't need ignorant people posting this type of ignorance from non reliable sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ArabPride (talk • contribs) 04:49, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ending useless debates[edit]

I have asked for this map to be renamed with the source it comes from (Atlas of World History). First, it should put an end to all debates. If the image is only a reproduction of another map found in a book, there is no debates and original research to have on "such part was Christian at this dats, etc.". Second, it was also the original uploader's will to copy the Atlas of World History. Hopefully, the move request is accepted. Veverve (talk) 17:37, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the request was rejected... Veverve (talk) 18:54, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming proposal[edit]

I ask for this map to be renamed with the source it comes from (Atlas of World History); File:Spread of Christianity to AD 600 - Atlas of World History.png. If the image is only a reproduction of another map found in a book, there is no debates and original research to have on "such part was Christian at this dats, etc.". Second, it was also the original uploader's will to copy the Atlas of World History. If there is no opposition, I will make my move request in two weeks.
