It is not Acanthacris but Cyrtacanthacris
- I agree with this statement and I therefore changed description and category to Cyrtacanthacris tatarica. This was subsequently rejected by Biopics. I don't know whether that is the same person as the one who took the picture. Before starting an edit war, I would like to know why Biopics and the author (if different) think that this grasshopper is Acanthacris ruficornis. On its page in the Orthoptera Species File, there is a picture of this species. I think you would agree with me that it's different from this picture. If you look at Category:Cyrtacanthacris_tatarica, you will see similar pictures to this one. ChriKo (talk) 21:36, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
