  • There's no official explanation, but the letter "V" is on the majority of Russian vehicles that invaded Ukraine from the north (from Belarus), "O" — from the northeast (Chernihiv direction), "Z" — from the east (Kharkiv direction), "Z in a square" or/and "/" — from the south (from Crimea).
