Email from photographer

[edit]

On 2006-09-06, I checked the Flickr source page and it stated that the image was copyrighted, all rights reserved. I then proceeded to email the photographer to confirm that he indeed had licensed it originally under CC-BY and this is his reply:

:: Re: "Powerful Impressions"

In regard to my picture. Yes it was licensed under a
Creative Commons Attribution License in the past. I am
honored to be featured on Wikipedia, therefore; I have
switched back the license on the picture to a Creative
Commons license.

thank you for your message.

After this, he changed it CC-BY-NC-ND, which is still an incompatible license, but that's of no consequence to us. howcheng {chat} 06:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The description for this photograph states that the Rogue River originates from crater Lake. This in not correct. Crater Lake, Oregon is in a crater and has no outlets. 74.193.18.193 05:31, 29 November 2006 (UTC)N.M.Sheedy[reply]
