the existence of Sudanese Association of Pediatricians (assumed 1977) succeeded this picture/state visit in 1965, and I am sure Sudanese Association of Pediatricians (SAP) is just slapping unsubstantiated claims of copy right.
Anyway, as there is little online about when SAP was founded, here is my set of evidences:
1. Sudanese Journal of Paediatrics is the journal of the Sudanese Association of Pediatricians which started publishing in 1977, see [1]
2. The 1st president of the Sudanese Association of Pediatricians is Professor Mahmoud Mohamed Hassan (unknown when). Still, he was the first Sudanese doctor to obtain a post graduate MD from University of Khartoum in 1965. I am sure you need more than 1 post graduate MD to start a journal. see [2]
3. Going back to the publication where the image was published, figure no. 1 is from 1934 and SAP also slapped their claim of copyright, see [3]. Again in 1934, Pedicatrity as a discipline did not even exist in Sudan. See [4]
4. free version of similar images of the event exist and it attributed to John Loengard and not SAP, see [5]

I hope this clarify that SAP copyright claim is unlawful and should be dismissed FuzzyMagma (talk) 16:39, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
