the author is not unknown. Traces of a stamp are visible in the bottom right corner. And even without a stamp: royal photographers are almost never unknown. --Martin H. (talk) 00:49, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IMHO the stamp reads "E. Uhlenhuth Coburg" but none website mentions the photographer. --Ras67 (talk) 03:51, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Its not a website that must mention the photographer. Just ask the website owner who scanned it, and if the person who scanned it can please have a look for prints or wrintings en face and en verso. No judgmenent without knowing the original, thats very simple. --Martin H. (talk) 02:11, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's not possible with normal means to find out the original person who scanned this picture. In the Web are 72 findings of it. Everybody copies from everybody. Probably nobody knows the person who scanned it. The watermark is from E. Uhlenhuth Coburg and also accepted here, here and here. Furthermore this image is in the public domain due to its age. --Ras67 (talk) 17:54, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
