Incorrect title/caption...[edit]
This title and caption are incorrect. This is the lynching of Will Stanley in Temple, Texas, in 1915, not the lynching of Jesse Washington in Waco, Texas, in 1916. Compare to the images of the Washington lynching at: wikipedia:Waco Horror.
