Location[edit]

I corrected the location using Google Maps to show the location of the monument, not the location of the centre of the village. Martinvl (talk) 22:23, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

DE Text[edit]

I commented out the DE text because it causes the Dutch and Frisian text to be suppressed. (At any rate on my PC). Martinvl (talk) 22:38, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

✓ fixed, sorry. And thanks for the improved coordinates, I only copied what the registry for 218 offered without checking map details. –Be..anyone (talk) 22:45, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Be..anyone - I still can't see any text apart from the English text. I am however having a few problems with my PC, so maybe the problem lies with me. Will you please double-check that the DE, NL and FY text is visible on your PC. Martinvl (talk) 23:11, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Windows 7 Chrome 40.0.2214.93m okay, Qupzilla 1.6.6 okay, Qupzilla 1.8.5 okay, Firefox 10.0.12esr okay, IE 9 32bit okay, IE 9 64bit okay. –Be..anyone (talk) 00:32, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded text[edit]

I could not find any further details of this monument or of Veldstra in Wikipedia, so I expanded the text to catalogue what I found out. Basically Veldstra was one of many hundreds, if not thousands of victims whose activities, though heroic, do not warrant a mention in Wikipedia. The description on this page is to put the monument into perspective. Martinvl (talk) 23:08, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good info, I live in Hamburg and visited KZ Neuengamme some years ago. –Be..anyone (talk) 00:42, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
