Note: We talk here of influence, cultural exchange induce by physical geography. So keep cool. Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Mongolia have been, indeed, strongly influenced by China. They fought for thousands of years, exchanging slaves, objects, customs, books, legends, characters, religions, metals, arts. Lasting or not, this is influence, simply.

Mongolia[edit]

I removed Mongolia from the list because its inclusion in Chinese world seems rather .. controversial. For just one example, they never seem to have used Chinese characters the same way Japanese, Koreans or Vietnamese did. Yaan (talk) 15:57, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
