Sakha language

[edit]

Hi, I believe that there is a problem with the coloring of the area in which Sakha language is spoken. If you check the Sakha language article, it is clearly identified as belonging to Turkic languages family, but the coloring in this current version of the image does not match this fact. Yes. Thank you. Checked this from Russian Wikipedia and it states the same.

Gibraltar

[edit]

Could someone please change Gibraltar from Romance to Germanic? Gibraltar has English as it's sole official language.

Irish

[edit]

Why is Ireland shown as Irish? While Irish is the country's first official language, very few people there can actually speak it...

Representing minor languages such as Sakha in Northern Russia is a common trait in linguistic maps, like it or not... and if someone speaking Irish wants to quarrel that, please do it elsewhere.

Quebec

[edit]

The map shows francophone Canada extending substantially farther into Ontario than it should. Ontario has French speaking communities in the north-east and east, but not in the south-west or south.
