The first Le Mans race was run in 1923 so there is an element of inaccuracy in decribing this car as the 1921 Le Mans Winner.

Obviously, the 24 hours of Le Mans are meant above. Indeed, this endurance race was held in 1923 for the first time. Racing at Le Mans dates back far longer, and several French Grand Prixs took place here. Jimmy Murphy won the 1921 French GP here, which was the first after WW1. With the same car but a different engine - Miller instead Duesenberg - he won the 1922 Indy 500.--Chief tin cloud (talk) 09:48, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
