This is going to be incredibly random and likely only reveal my lack of awareness as to how to use Wikimedia. However, here goes...

I see the posting of this family tree by one Joshua Segal. It claims be of "My Family" so through my powers of deduction, I presume Joshua Segal to be a descendant of this aristrocratic line of Westphalian Germans. I am NOT a descendant of this family. My only connection is in being a distant relation of a man who likely betrayed a member of the Kettler family, one Wilhelm Freiherr von Kettler, to his death in Vienna in March of 1938 (on the eve of or during the Nazi annexation of Austria). Beyond the poor soul who was murdered during the Boxer rebellion, there was this other assassinated Kettler figure.

I am working on a project and have much of the story pieced together but if it is not too unsavory, would wish to speak to anyone with a connection to the family or who might have access to letters from this one Kettler family member and which may be of help in my project.

To be very very clear, I am aware of who my ancestor was and I understand that he was not a very good person. None of this is a 'whitewash' but is intended to shed light on an obscure (but at the time fairly sensational) story that was made obscure by later, more dramatic events.

If not Mr. Segal, any member of the Kettler clan want to collaborate with me? Or even satisfy some of your own curiosity as to these events now so long ago? Please post back.
