Rakhiot glacier - no doubt

this file, look at the rocky spots within the glacier. The part on the right is centre/left in the upper picture.

That glacier is most certainly not near Khunjerab pass. Who can help identifying it? --Rupert Pupkin (talk) 21:57, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

Ok, fount out myself. It is indeed Rakhiot glacier on the north side of Nanga Parbat. Thought at first I had to look closer at the Karakorams. But not even close to Hunza River or Khunjerab Pass.

??? I do not understand. The uploader Ghazi Ghulamraza claims the image as own work, and in fact he has uploaded a smaller JPEG version on Flickr: Frozen Khunjrab River. Shouldn’t we assume he did know, where he was taking the photograph? — Speravir – 23:11, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

Oops, for unknow reason I did not see the images at first (there was an edit conflict). Actually there are 2 more images:

edit conflict. new start... Ok, you see ;-) Maybe the fotographer couldn't tell anymore, because of the clouds. It's still hard to determine, even if you know where to search. Anyway, I can wait. the exif data on flickr says it was a scanner. That's no proove but it doesn't contradict my assumption that the photographer couldn't tell anymore...--Rupert Pupkin (talk) 23:45, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

But the Khunjerab pass (so, it’s a spelling mistake anyway) is not in the Nanga Parbat region, a bit mysterious to me. On another image the Flickr user had obviously mixed up the photo, where he has been on his trip on this day, when uploading the photo album days or probably weeks later. — Speravir – 00:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
