Though this image is probably a fake (the gravestone in the foreground), IMHO it should not be deleted because 1st it is a very good fake, and 2nd as it can serve as an example for how long a fake image may stay in a wikipedia article. This one remained uncontested for more than two years in article de:Fritz Todt after it was put there by IP 84.191.240.156 [1]. --Túrelio 09:21, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It should be noted that this photo is a fabrication. No such grave marker exists in the Invalidenfriedhof. Intelligent Mr Toad, 12 April 2007, Berlin. the preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.146.119.101 (talk • contribs) 21:53, 11. Apr. 2008
Compare with Image:Invalidenfriedhof, Grabfeld C.jpg. --Túrelio 22:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please name a source for stating that this photo is fabricated. Several Berlin newspapers reported in 2004 that a restitution stone had indeed been placed on the site of Fritz Todt's grave that year. The authorities of Berlin had originally objected to this controversial step but gave in when Todt's family threatened to take the matter to court (see Tagesspiegel, Aufregung um Grabstein für Nazi-Führer - Ruhestätte bisher anonym auf Invalidenfriedhof, September 1, 2004). Only when searching this stone in November 2007 (and making the comparison shot mentioned above) I found out that the stone is no longer to be found and has most likely been removed by the authorities sometime since 2004 in a reversal of their decision. That doesn't make this photo a fake. --Beek100 00:36, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
