Aspect Ratio & Number of Trees, Colours, etc[edit]

The image located on reg.gg.ca shows 11 trees on a 5:3 flag. [1].
At some point somebody converted the flag from 5:3 to 2:1; I am not sure who or when. The 2:1 version contains 13 trees; I do not know if anybody intended that since 13 is generally considered to be an unlucky number. According this CBC article [2], the city of Greater Sudbury has never flown the flag. That same article has a picture of a 2:1 Sudbury flag with 13 trees. The green and gold colours in that picture are reversed such that the star is green instead of gold. For a flag that has never been flown, it is difficult to say what is right and what is wrong!
