Invalid license[edit]

A national flag (including a derivative work or a reproduction) cannot be licensed public domain as the work of the uploader. It must either be in the public domain like Image:Flag of Serbia.svg or licensed as fair use (and therefore ineligible for hosting on the Commons). Vassyana 15:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Filename[edit]

Shouldn't this be moved to "Flag of the Republic of Macedonia", per WP:NCMAC? "Flag of Macedonia" could also mean "Flag of Greek Macedonia". Unless files are exempt from WP:NCMAC. --Philly boy92 (talk) 13:09, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Color and construction[edit]

The Macedonian Heraldry Society's website has an image of the national flag which can act as a color source. Furthermore, they also have a constructin sheet which is arguably more authoritative than the FOTW's approximation. I propose to overwrite the current file with a new one and I would like to know if there's any objections. Sshu94 (talk) 19:53, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sept 26,2019 version[edit]

This new version (dated Sept 26,2019) is based off of File:Construction_sheet_of_the_flag_of_North_Macedonia.svg which in turn is based off of constructin sheet. It was created programmatically without the use of Inkscape or other drawing tools. The result looks the same as the previous few versions except at very high magnification levels. Previous versions (starting Dec 20,2018) had minor alignment problems which I will guess were the result of editing in Inkscape with all snapping disabled.
