Fiorello LaGuardia was NYC govenor and was known for putting the city's interests in front of his own. He was born on Dec.11, 1882 and died on Sept. 20,1947. His nickname was "Little Flower" because of his small height, 5'2".He had a sister named Genna and his parents names were Achille Lugi and Irene Cohen LaGuardia.
