The following is the provenance of this image as set forth in the deletion request referenced above:
- I went and conducted a little research, and here are the results: the photo was apparently taken in 1912 in Jerusalem (which back then was under the rule of the Ottoman Empire) by Shlomo Narinsky (Israeli; d. 1960) and published in 1918.... Aviados (talk) 22:35, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
