Diskussion[edit]

It would be very interesting to have energies in eV in the scale. Many people need it every day to look up bandgap -> wavelength relations.

V/S/U/E Low Frequency bands[edit]

I miss the four bands

VLF = Very Low Frequency = 3 ... 30 kHz = (German: Längstwellen)

SLF = Super Low Frequency = (German: Niederfrequenz)

ULF = Ultra Low Frequency = (German: Niederfrequenz)

ELF = Extreme Low Frequency = 3 ... 30 Hz = (German: Niederfrequenz)

Image sizes[edit]

The image with location http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/15/Electromagnetic_spectrum_c.svg/800px-Electromagnetic_spectrum_c.svg.png (the Spectrum) is rendered in unreadable sizes like 200px width, and also 500px width. Anybody an idea what that is for?

Cosmic Gamma Rays - german: Höhenstrahlung[edit]

“Cosmic radiation” is somewhat misleading; better would be “cosmic γ-rays”.

The description “Höhenstrahlung” in the three german files is definitely wrong. “Höhenstrahlung” are particles; furthermore the term is outdated. “Kosmische γ-Strahlung” would be better Wassermaus (talk) 10:29, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
