Scale

[edit]

The scale seems to bee incorrect: on an 24h-clock should be on the right hand the "6", ont he bottom the "12" and on the left side the "18". If I misunderstood sth., the explanation of the file should be more precise. Furthermore the sense of the small brown 12h-colck is absloutely unclear. --Carbenium (talk) 12:13, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May I share my observance:
I see a normally scaled watch, the first 12 hours are shown in the inner circle, the past 12 hours are shown as the main outer circle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.130.213.254 (talk • contribs) 20:17, 16. Jan. 2011 (UTC)
Nevertheless the timescale on which the diagram is based is outdated. There is no Algonkian in use in the global time scale anymore and the Archean ends at -2500 Ma (actually since 1990!), i.e. before noon if down-scaled to 24 hrs! Hence I have created a new diagram according to the modern geological time scale (File:Erdgeschichte auf 24 h herunterskaliert.svg). --Gretarsson (talk) 01:07, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
