Strange that the media file seems to have been updated to a correct caption (i.e. correcting "science" to read "Magnanimity") as reflected in the Louvre's catalog, but as of this date, the edits have not moved through the system to include the page on Islamic Pottery: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_pottery Where the incorrect use of "science" remains.

Perhaps there is a translation issue going on here, but I could not figure out what was happening.

Hi, sorry to write in French , this is what we can read in Catherine Juvin, Plat à inscirption monumentale, from Sophie Makariou (dir.), Les Arts de l'Islam au Musée du Louvre, coéditions Musée du Louvre et Hazan, 2012, (ISBN 978-2-35031-361-0) et (ISBN 978-2-75410-619-1), pp. 108-110 : Le texte figurant sur le plat du Louvre (...) peut se traduire ainsi : "La magnanimité est au début d'un goût amer, mais finalement plus douce que le miel". Une erreur de lecture a longtemps fait nommer ce plat "à la science". I am going to correct the english article.--Faqscl (talk) 15:25, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
