Picture Doesn't Match Wiki Loves Love 2019 Edition Scope[edit]

Hello, AntanO. As you may know, the theme for Wiki Loves Love 2019 is festivals, celebrations, ceremonies and rituals of love. Although your photo seems fine with general criteria of Wikimedia Commons, its subject doesn't seem to pertain the theme on which Wiki Loves Love focus in its current edition. Neither the visualization of the photo nor the reading of the description given provide enough context to enable understand in which manner the photo could pertain to the theme. If you nonetheless estimate that the photo do pertain to the theme, then please provide more information about that, so we can consider reintegrating in photos illegible in the contest. Of course you also are welcome to provide more photos that you think relevant for the theme of this edition, and we encourage you to do so. With lot of Wiki Love, in the name of the Wiki Loves Love team, Psychoslave (talk) 23:03, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Psychoslave I already explained at User talk:Wikilover90/Archive 1#Out of scope - how? and it remain as unanswered! Do I need to repeat? --AntanO 02:16, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Dear AntanO. We appreciate deeply your contribution, and the will to defend love spread through your photos. Rest assured that we will do our best to use them within Wikimedia projects were they can illustrate some topic on love, whatever the status of the picture in the contest. Be aware that you were not alone to have pictures categorized out of scope, and we also take that as a feedback to better communicate on the importance of being in scope in our next editions. So we value your feedback. However, despite the love we have for you pictures, it would be unfair from us to accept out of scopes images. We are sorry for the frustration this might generate for you, but once again remember that this doesn't disqualify your picture from being used to illustrate love in Wikimedia projects, which is the main goal behind the competition itself that is just there to boost this initiative. With much love, Psychoslave (talk) 06:36, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
PsychoslaveAs I have already questioned about scope, you all failed to give direct answer. User talk:Wikilover90/Archive 1#Out of scope - how? - Here you can see two type of response regarding "scope". BTW, I am aware of Common's scope, and I am pretty sure my image has a place at Wiki project since my contributions are 7 years old, and I have uploaded 500+ images. (You can check my global contribution and my user rights) I don't want to win the prize, but it is wrong judgement from Wiki Loves Love coordinators. I have been a coordinator for a few wiki projects and I didn't amature judgement. You don't need to do anything, and just leave it. Thanks! --AntanO 15:17, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi User:AntanO. I'm happy to know that you are a long time contributor, thank you for that. Reading the message on Wikilover90, I found the message very clear regarding the scope of the edition, but as I am fully immersed in the project, it might bias my view. So as imperfect as our communication might be, I hope you understand we do our best to deal fairly with the contest and to take formulate it in that way "apply the same biases to every images". We remain full of gratitude for and love with your contributions. Psychoslave (talk) 07:25, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
