Violet[edit]

I don't see any reason why violet can't be represented as purple (red+blue) on this chart. As is, it appears that 440nm is a dark blue instead of a violet. Trlkly (talk) 02:42, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Because this chart is too schematic. In reality the curves are not symmetric: (semi-logariphmical scale)
