Speed[edit]

@Waldir: Nice figure! Very helpful for the perplexed newcomer to wave propagation. I was thinking, it would be nice to replace the phrase "speed of light" by "wave speed (phase velocity)", as then it would apply to all waves. What do you think? --Nanite (talk) 10:16, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm happy that you found it useful :) I had a hard time when I first started studying these properties, because exposition texts rarely presented their descriptions and the connections between them in a systematic way.
