I doubt

Charquicán is not a soup, but much more a "guiso"; it almost has no water in it. This picture looks more like an "arvejado" with a fried egg on top. I hope to make a charquicán sometime and introduce the pic here. --E4024 (talk) 07:03, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
