- @GK tramrunner RU: yes, this was during the Five Boro Bike Tour. With thousands of friends I biked from Midtown through The Bronx and Queens. I stopped in Bay Ridge to snap this picture, then continued with my friends to Staten Island. A beautiful day. Some years the annual 5BBT is difficult weather; not this time. - @GK tramrunner RU: yes, the usual route of 5BBT uses BQE for the portion through Brooklyn from Atlantic Avenue to Verrazzano Bridge. Other parts use other highways and streets that are closed to motor vehicles on that day. This year it will be 7 May. I usually greet friends and ride awhile with them. Being old in recent years, I generally fall behind and tell them to continue without me. Other friends catch me, and I ride with them. Jim.henderson (talk) 00:17, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
