The picture is not displayed correctly. It should be pivoted 90 degrees. Bees always align their cells in this direction.

Of course you are right! But in the case of this picture where the main interest is to give a closeup view on the larvae and the eggs, I think the correct rotation is not so important and like this the picture can be seen better on a computer screen than in vertical format. I tried to rotate the picture, but the light comes a bit unnatural then. And as the eggs normaly are hanging a bit downwards in the cells, I think the correct rotation would be 30 degrees clockwise. --wau > 20:56, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
