bad quality / deletion[edit]
This image is in unreadably low quality.
Why was the resolution lowered? The original file (https://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USA/USA-MTO-NWA/maps/USA-MTO-NWA-IX.jpg) is 2000x1828, this is 703x600.
The map is useless for its intended purpose, to illustrate the articles on the battle. A reader might read "In the Sbiba area facing the German armored advance was the British 6th Armoured Division" but then find that the map is so poor that you can't actually read the place names to find this Sbiba!
I propose we delete this file, and replace it with a new download of https://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USA/USA-MTO-NWA/maps/USA-MTO-NWA-IX.jpg where we don't carelessly destroy its utility by making sure it remains readable.
