Bob Feller (signature on left baseball)[edit]

I'm fairly certain the signature on the baseball on the left of this image is that of "Bob Feller" an American baseball player. Here are links that support that idea:

As for the inscription on that top left baseball, I believe that is "HOF 62" (short for "Hall of Fame 1962"). Here is the only evidence I found online that "Bob Feller" of the Cleveland Indians was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame (now located in Cooperstown, New York, USA), in 1962:

Al Kaline (sigature on middle baseball)[edit]

I'm fairly certain the signature on the baseball in the middle of this image is that of "Al Kaline" an American baseball player who played his whole career for the Detroit tigers. Here is a link that supports that idea:

Brooks Robinson (signature on right baseball)[edit]

I'm fairly certain the signature on the baseball on the right of this image is that of "Brooks Robinson" an American baseball player who played his whole career for the Baltimore Orioles. Here are links that support that idea:

Frank J Shaughnessy (signature on top baseball)[edit]

I'm absolutely certain the signature on the 4th (top) baseball in this photo is of Frank J. Shaughnessy, who was a sports figure. Here are links that support that idea:

  • Frank Shaughnessy wikipedia page shows there was a significant "Frank Shaughnessy" in sports, baseball, football, hockey: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Shaughnessy
  • Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame page for Frank Shaughnessy, showing he was significant in Canada baseball as well: https://baseballhalloffame.ca/hall-of-famer/frank-shaughnessy/
  • I found many images of "Frank Shaughnessy", "Frank J Shaughnessy", and "F J Shaughnessy" signatures on baseballs and letters online, but the best one is an actual image of the same "official" "International League" baseball which features this same stamped signature of "Frank J Shaughnessy" with a solid 5-point star beneath the middle of the signature, and the abbreviation "PRES." beneath the end of the signature. The signature in that photo is a lot less worn/faded than the photo in our image, so it is easier to make out the letters: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/XAcAAOSwrvhksBHb/s-l1600.jpg
