Taiwan[edit]

Taiwan is not an Anglosphere country. 83.20.96.75 21:49, 26 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Guyana[edit]

Guyana should be light blue, as the dominant spoken language there is Guyanese Creole, not English. Marcos (talk) 11:26, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Malta?[edit]

Official language. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2001:4C4E:2495:4600:CCBC:D812:36CD:C87 (talk) 12:48, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hong Kong[edit]

Please add Hong Kong to the map. English is an official language and a commonly-used language, alongside with Cantonese, in Hong Kong.

Puerto Rico[edit]

Puerto Rico should be light blue, English being official but not the main language. It is shown in grey at the moment. --Xatufan (talk) 14:14, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Seconding this about two years later. PR should be updated with the light blue shading. -2003:CA:8725:A88F:31C6:3D37:F459:4BFB 19:08, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Caribbean Region (including Bahamas, Turks and Caicos)[edit]

Most of the Caribbean (and associated countries) on this map are light blue (administrative/official, but not majority). Specifically, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos are light blue.

English is both the dominant language and the official language in these countries. Some may say that regional versions are a dialect (i.e. I see notes here about 'creole' languages), but that same argument would apply to decent portions of the United States as well as the Caribbean.

It also doesn't make sense as the Cayman Islands is dark blue (both Cayman and Turks and Caicos are British Overseas Territories, with English being official and dominant in both countries/territories).

As such, I think the map needs to be updated so most of the Caribbean is dark blue. RoadTripWarrior (talk) 13:30, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
