Angaria depressa or Modulus tectum?[edit]

[Copy of message left at "Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Animals".] At the Wikimedia Commons, we have received a request for "File:Angaria depressa.shell001.jpg" to be renamed "Modulus tectum". Can a knowledgeable editor please comment on the matter at "File talk:Angaria depressa.shell001.jpg"? Thanks. — Cheers, JackLee talk 13:30, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, the shell needs to be identified certainly before the file should be renamed—and it isn't important what the files is called. This surely should be placed in an "Unidentified X" category, if it is unlikely to be identified ever, or if somebody with more expertise is needed. —innotata 20:57, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, which is why I haven't renamed the file yet. Also, the file is marked with a dispute tag. — Cheers, JackLee talk 09:57, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
