The license meta-information in the svg (CC BY-SA 2.5) conflicts with the license provided on the file page (public domain). Might I request that the file be updated, such that the license information in the svg reflect that the image is in the public domain? That would help with including the image in places with strict license guidelines (e.g., Debian Free Software Guidelines). Thanks! --cdeccio {{Edit request}}

The meta-information are from the old source-file, here is a cleaned File: Ambox warning yellow 2.svg (should be merged here) User: Perhelion 16:06, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re-crop to avoid clipping drop shadow[edit]

{{Edit request}} The "removing whitespace" revison to this file a number of years ago ended up causing the shadow on the icon to be clipped at the lower right corner, which looks pretty poor in practice.

The following is SVG source to an updated version which reins in the shadow's blur filter a little (so it fits better within the image boundaries), reduces the shadow to 75% opacity (to compensate for the reduced blur), and resizes the file dimensions to enclose all of the content, including the blurred shadow. (Nominal dimensions increase from 378x326 to 386x334, so it does add slightly more pixels around the icon. But those extra pixels represent the drop shadow, which should not be clipped, rather than whitespace.)

I've uploaded this source as File:Ambox warning yellow 3.svg, in case it's easier to replace the file from there. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 03:33, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
