Afghan?[edit]

Is there a reason that the word "Afghan" is in the filename? It appears (from the location given on the original page at [1]) that this is at Camp Roberts. I can't imagine there are more Afghan tanks than American or British tanks here. Although the photographer goes to Afghanistan regularly, and apparently was there after December 9, other pictures on this day (December 3) and on both sides of this at http://www.flickr.com/photos/oddwick/archives/date-taken/2009/12/calendar/ are from California as well. --Closeapple (talk) 06:04, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded this image. I have no problem removing the "Afghan" from the title.
How did it come to have "Afghan" in the title? I can't remember. I don't think I would have added it. I am going to guess that this may have been the name Todd, the original photographer, gave it on flickr -- and that he has since changed it. He has a sense of humor. I'm not sure either. There isn't a rename on Commons until today, so I assume it was uploaded here with that name. Also, as far as I can tell, the location was added on Flickr manually, so maybe the Camp Roberts location wasn't on Flickr earlier. The Commons file here and the Flickr file are identical, and strangely, the EXIF has a GPS version number but no actual GPS coordinates. --Closeapple (talk) 23:00, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
