I found the source of the image on the poster, and I don't think it's as free-use as the political poster makes it seem. The real name of the art is Wage Slave, by Michael Dashow. Should this be updated accordingly? I've never edited here, so I don't know how. SacredSpirit1337 (talk) 18:25, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • The image probably needs to be re-evaluated at Deletion requests page. I have photographed the poster on a street. The publication of such a photo is legal. However, if the poster design was a copyright violation it complicates everything. The satirical page of Większe Zło does not exist for years and I cannot ask them about permissions and image source. The poster indeed looks like a direct copy of Michael's work. It is a kind of remix but very close to the original and I don't know if it is enough. The best solution is to either ask Michael Dashow for permission and remove a picture if he will not allow its publication or remove the picture right away. Just change in picture description, for now, does not solve anything. -- Jakubhal 20:14, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dashow says Większe Zło had permission and that he's fine with it being here on WP, would prefer it not be deleted (though with credit to him). I've summarized that and linked to his original image in the credits. The copy-vio people can confirm his email and decide on the proper license. Kwamikagami (talk) 22:27, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
