Why are all the red dots in the U.S. in the northeast when nearly 100% of the U.S. artichoke crop is grown in California? This doesn't make sense. Badagnani 04:20, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This bubble map is a crude representation of output ratios. Typically, the dots are placed near the capital of the country e.g. Russia. These bubble maps are not intended to be substitutes for precision satellite imagery. Anwar 14:37, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have to agree with Badagnani. The whole point of a map is to show a geographical relationship. The graphics don't seem to correlate with the data, so I find it a little confusing. Cmprince 02:33, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
