Summary[edit]
DescriptionZamek Bierzglowski - tympanon.JPG |
English: Zamek Bierzgłowski - Dating from around 1300 ceramic three-field tympanum of uncertain iconography (the figure of a rider on horseback interpreted as Christ entering Jerusalem or the form of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order). The oldest ceramic bas-relief sculpture in Prussia is classified by some historians to the most valuable works of ceramic art of medieval Europe. |
