W 2013 roku zakończono pierwszą rewitalizację elewacji budynku .Całkowity koszt prac remontowych wynosił 13,5 mln zł i w 75% finansowany był z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Zachodniopomorskiego. Prezentowane zdjęcie jest próbą ukazania piękna sztuki budowlanej pocz. XX wieku. Gmach był projektem niemieckiego architekta Paula Kieschke urodzonego w Szczecinie w 1851 roku- zm. 1905 roku w Baden Baden.
